Auditions for "Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, June 26 and 27 at Elgin Community College by the Fox alley Theatre Company.

Interested actors entering third grade through age 20 can audition from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Register to audition at the Children's Theatre of Elgin's website.

The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors, from the creators of "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Evita", comes to life in this musical parable. 

Joseph is his father's favorite, and he is prophetic with dreams. He is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, where Joseph experiences a series of adventures that challenge his spirit and humanity.

With music from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock 'n' roll, this Old Testament tale is both timely and timeless.
